A crucial aspect
of our trip is ensuring we minimize our impact on the
environment. Below is
information about how we plan to do this and
some organizations that we are working with
and/or support.

Organizations we
are working with:
Leave No Trace
- The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics
is an international nonprofit organization
dedicated to promoting and inspiring responsible
outdoor recreation through education, research
and partnerships. Leave No Trace builds
awareness, appreciation and respect for our
wildlands.
The Access Fund
- Since 1990, the Access Fund has been the
only national advocacy organization that
keeps climbing areas open and conserves the
climbing environment. The Access Fund supports
and represents over 1.6 million climbers
nationwide in ALL forms of climbing; Rock
Climbing, Ice Climbing, Mountaineering, and
Bouldering. Five core programs support the
mission on national and local levels: public
policy, stewardship & conservation (including
grants), grassroots activism, climber education,
and land acquisition.

Organizations that
inspire us:
Voice Yourself - Many genuinely care about
the planet and each other but feel powerless to
make change. There’s a design flaw in the system
that keeps us fighting against each other. At
VoiceYourself we start from a place of shared
interest. VoiceYourself is a communication hub
that promotes simple organic living through
conscious consumerism, the sharing of ideas and
information, as well as encouraging peaceful
civil disobedience. Founded by Woody Harrelson
and Laura Louie.
MAK Technologies - Solar Energy Installers
(NJ and NY)
