American Indians have lived in this area for over 12, 000 years

Blue skies

These birds were swooping by so fast we were a little concerned for our safety!

Spider Rock

"...Tse Na'ashjee'ii - Spider Rock.
Holy Spider Woman is an important
deity in Navajo mythology. It was she
who taught the people how to weave.

There is purity and strength here.
And places sacred to the people.

Places strong in the oneness of
earth, sky and of all things."

Checking out the rock

Now you see him

Now you don't!

The view from all around Window Rock

Gas is expensive out here

Looking at our sore fingers while we fill up the tank

Cattle...

...and horses on the road
