* New
this season: In order to push everyone to try new
routes every week we're starting a new system that
penalizes you for repeating climbs. Don't worry, you'll
only lose a few points per climb, but hopefully it will
give you incentive to work that route that seems just
out of reach.
Register for the ACL
Fill out a
registration form at The Rock Club or register by phone
(914) 633-ROCK.
You can
register as an individual or as a team (teams of 4). If
you are registering as a team make sure you let us know
who else is on your team. We can also put you on a team.

The Handicap System
We
want everyone to have the chance to win if they really
push themselves and train hard, so we’ve created a
handicap system that puts all climbers on an even
playing field.
Climbers decide for themselves the level at which they
climb and points are awarded for each climb based on the
points chart.
Climbing levels are based on the grade you climb
comfortably:
C1
= 5.8, C2 = 5.9, C3 = 5.10, C4 = 5.11, C5 = 5.12 |
Chart
Points and
grades in
red
are
base scores and indicate
what you get for climbing at your level. If you
climb above or below your grade you would get more or
less points based on the chart below.
